Mission Driven

Built by operators.
Driven by purpose.

Seven Torches Foundation was founded by a U.S. Army veteran and enrolled Cherokee Nation citizen with over a decade of direct operational experience in anti-human trafficking victim recovery, coordinated with federal and state law enforcement partners. We don't just raise awareness — we respond.

Our founding team brings together military veterans, law enforcement professionals, and nonprofit leaders united by a shared mission: to provide the operational response, safe housing, intelligence tools, and survivor support that trafficked individuals desperately need and rarely receive.

As an enrolled Cherokee Nation organization, we are uniquely positioned to serve Native American communities — which face disproportionately high rates of trafficking and missing persons — with culturally competent, operationally capable support.

Signs of trafficking

A person appears confused about where they are, what city or state they're in, or cannot recall their own address
Someone else speaks for them, answers all questions, or won't allow them to speak alone — especially in hotels, clinics, or transportation hubs
The person lacks control of their own ID, passport, or phone — or someone else is holding these items for them
Visible signs of physical abuse, malnourishment, exhaustion, or branding/tattoos that appear to be ownership markings
Multiple people living in a vehicle, hotel room, or residence — rotating in and out at odd hours with few personal belongings
A child or teenager with an older "boyfriend" or "manager" who pays for everything, controls their movement, and isolates them from family
Someone working in a commercial sex environment, massage parlor, or labor-intensive job who seems fearful, rehearsed, or unable to leave freely
A person who avoids eye contact with law enforcement or authority figures, appears coached on what to say, or gives inconsistent answers
A minor checked into a hotel by an adult who is not a parent or guardian — especially if multiple room key cards are requested

If you suspect trafficking: Do not confront the situation directly. Remove yourself from danger and call 911 or the National Hotline at 1-888-373-7888. You can also text "HELP" to 233733 or call/text Seven Torches at (682) 207-7676.
